In summer the terrace, overlooking the river and the Berkshire Downs, creates a scented idyllic setting surrounded by flowers and herbs. During the cooler months, a warming log fire provides a luxurious glow as you enjoy the culinary delights of the kitchen. The dining room itself has a discreet and friendly service, with a relaxed elegance inspired by the river views, vivid paintings and striking fresh flowers.
Head Chef Julia Storey has a passion for the freshest ingredients and her modern European menu is full of delightfully fragrant dishes with vibrant Pacific Rim influences. Popular dishes include the Monkfish Tail with Mussels, the aromatic Thai Spiced Scallions, and the succulent Szechuan Honey-Glazed Duck with pickled plum and sugar-roasted chicory. Local game, seasonal fresh fish and meat dishes are all complemented by an international selection of wines. |

Open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:15 Monday to Saturday, and 12:00 to 15:00 on Sunday.
